2021 MacRostie The Key Chardonnay – 93 Points

“Precisely polished and balanced aromas of sliced yellow pears, acacia and freshly peeled apples followed by sour cream and goats cheese with integrated toasty and nutty notes. Flinty minerality, too. Medium body with delightful acidity. Nicely framed wine that is harmonious. Drink or hold.”

2021 MacRostie Nightwing Vineyard Chardonnay – 92 Points

“Yellow plums, acacia and sourdough followed by browned toast, honeycomb and bitter almonds with brewed chamomile tea. Medium body and delightful acidity. Zesty finish. Beautiful depth with layers. Drink or hold.”

2021 MacRostie Wildcat Mountain Chardonnay – 92 Points

“Plenty of lush citrus aromas followed by golden apples, bitter nuts, and beeswax with saffron and saline undertones. Medium body with bright acidity. Zesty wine layered with savory spices and minerality. Drink or hold.”

2021 MacRostie Thale’s Vineyard Pinot Noir – 92 Points

“A mix of dark and red fruits with potpourri, cloves and kola nuts followed by cedar, browned toast and a hint of brewed black tea. Medium body with lovely tension and focus on the mid-palate. Slightly firm tannins with vivid acidity. Energetic pinot with nice concentration and depth. Drink or hold. Screw cap.”

2021 MacRostie Wildcat Mountain Pinot Noir – 92 Points

“Sound and lively fruit aromas of brambles and strawberries with cinnamon, blanched almonds and browned toast. Medium-bodied, solid yet ripe tannins with soft acidity. Nice density and depth to it. Drink or hold.”

2022 MacRostie Sonoma Coast Chardonnay – 91 Points

“Lots of sour cream and cheese rind aromas with golden apple, banana peel and yogurt followed by baking spices and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, crisp acidity. Enjoyable. Drink or hold.”

2021 MacRostie Nightwing Vineyard Pinot Noir – 91 Points

“Brambles and purple flowers with baking spices, grapefruit zest and an underlying wild bush and dried herb note. Medium-bodied, refreshing acidity and velvety tannins. Dense and compressed. Give this more time to come around. Try after 2025.”
