    2016 Wildcat Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay

    94 Points, Wine & Spirits
Steve MacRostie planted this vineyard in 1998, at elevations rising to 700 feet in the Petaluma Gap. The soils are volcanic, the cool winds and fog accounting for the crunchy brightness of this wine’s flavors. It has the white-flower scent of fresh cream, that creaminess incorporated into the elegant texture. The ripe lime flavors last with the blue-sky clarity of the coast. —Joshua Greene, April 2018
